The SCT tie-rod cylinder features bi-directional YCC sealing rings and a powerful double-stroke design, with a compact and refined appearance that ensures fast action and smooth, stable output. Each layer of the cylinder contains an individual piston, and during the push–pull process multiple pistons share the load, allowing the cylinder to achieve the most compact length while generating multiplied output force through its multi-layer stacked structure. This double-force design delivers stronger power, and the six-seal-ring configuration provides excellent sealing performance, enabling the cylinder to hold pressure up to 1.4 MPa without leakage.

Pneumatic Control Schemes for Multi-Position Cylinders
Each section of the cylinder contains a piston.
When the piston rod extends, all pistons generate pushing force. However, during retraction, only one piston produces pulling force.
The air inlet of Cylinder①is connected to Port A of the solenoid valve, and the air inlet of Cylinder④is connected in series to Port B of the solenoid valve. The air inlet of Cylinder③is connected to a silencer. When Port A of the solenoid valve is energized, the cylinders stay in the retracted position. When Port B is energized, the cylinders start to operate.
1.Extension
When the air supply is on:
Solenoid valve No.1 is energized, and the cylinder extends to the first stroke.
Solenoid valve No.2 is then energized, and the cylinder extends to the second stroke.
2.Retraction
When the piston rod is fully extended:
Solenoid valve No.1 and No.2 are both de-energized, and the cylinder fully retracts.
1. Extension (Forward Stroke)
When the air supply is turned on:
Solenoid valve No.1 and No.2 are energized at the same time.
The cylinder rod extends through all strokes until fully extended.
2. Retraction (Step-by-Step Return)
①Return to the Second Position
When the piston rod is fully extended:
Solenoid valve No.2 is de-energized, causing the cylinder to retract to the second position.
② Return to the First Position
Solenoid valve No.1 is de-energized, causing the cylinder to retract to the first position and complete the return process.
